Most of the personal information collected and processed by this website is provided directly by you for one of the following reasons: 1) you provided identifiable information and contact details to allow me to respond to your enquiry, 2) you provided your email address and consented to sign up to a mailing list in order to be notified of updates to the website and practice.

All Confidential digital information will be stored in a secure cloud service offering high levels of security. Confidential information containing sensitive data or information shared with you will be sent by Dr Heather Boland via an encrypted emailing system. All electronic devices used to access stored information will themselves be password protected.
Only the psychologist, Dr Heather Boland, will have access to your personal data.

I will only keep your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes the data was collected for. The personal data may be retained for a longer period in the event of a complaint.

A Confidentiality/GDPR policy regarding to personal information collected as part of the therapeutic process (e.g., additional personal details and sensitive information shared during the assessment and therapy sessions) will be shared with clients once the first appointment is booked. Clients will be asked to sign and agree to the therapy Terms & Conditions.
